Whether scripted or improvised, drama helps us to explore characters, relationships, conflicts and complex situations.  It also helps us to laugh at funny situations and the absurdity of life!  At Carpenter Film we love to shoot and direct drama as it’s central to our passion for telling great stories, and we enjoy bringing out the best in every member of the cast and crew.

Alison initially trained as a Production Manager, so is an unusual combination of brilliantly organised and highly creative – she’ll be a real asset to your next project.

The first ever film she directed was a drama that she wrote called ‘It’s a Sign’. A short quirky comedy about signs and their potential to be misinterpreted. She’s learnt a lot since then, but you can check it out on her Vimeo page.
